YouTube - Watch, Upload and Share Videos App Reviews

Almost every time I watch a video, it freezes and I have to turn off my phone and wait 3 seconds before it actually turns off. It’s starting to get really annoying and long for a fix for this issue.

I seriously dont know how I used to function without this app. I do miss the old layout however but other than that its great!

It wont let me sign in it saying error fetching youtube channel list and it wont let me create a new one either

I very much liked the new (experimental) interface for minimized clips during playback. It would go down vertically and keep playback buttons and most importantly would not maximize up when you rotated the phone. Unfortunately in this new update this feature is reversed back to previous interface. I wish this comes back again. It had significantly improved my viewing experience!

we used to get haptic feedback when changing the video quality now we dont....please bring it back!!

The ads are appearing right before something cool or interesting is about to happen in a video. I enjoy watching the videos and don’t mind that the ads are there but they are getting in the way of me fully enjoying a video. Please fix this.

These bugs annoy me. 1). Sub comments Freeze. When you go to the subcomments of comments it will freeze and then you have to restart app 2). Sub Comments Crash. Similar to thenother one but the app crashes. 3). Scrolling bug. Sometimes when I am scrolling it freezes there and i can’t scroll or tap on the screen. 4). Fake Spam Accounts 5). Adpocalypse

It is a great app, But there is one problem. Whenever I exit full screen this white bar appears on the top of my screen and it’s getting annoying. Please fix this YouTube.

Freezes non stop, when I click on a comment, when I go full screen, when I click on link with device, you name it! Ps I have an iPhone 8 so don’t be saying it’s my phone.

So last update, this particular bug (the one where the video would freeze but the audio would keep going) was gone for the most part, I don’t recall actually getting it. But then this new update came and the problem is back. Please YouTube. Fix this for good. Literally I spend the majority of my free watch time on here and it would be great if you guys actually fixed this so it just won’t come back at all. It would be much appreciated.

If someone replies to your comment or a comment you replied too I think it should be shown on the bell tab or have it’s own like the “shared” one

do this to make UX better: add the privacy setting in the Library > My Videos list so i can immediately know the current privacy setting for each rather than having to go to Library > My Videos > ... > Edit
