I watch YouTube all the time and it’s my main source of entertainment, BUT the app is very buggy, with new bugs popping up all the time and it gets very degrading after a while. Plus I see that the young Turks is being advertised on their page with the caption stay informed and that’s a complete lie, so if you want a transparent, honest and well optimized video platform. Try Vimeo.

YouTube app keeps losing connection with CHROMECAST, and controls do NOT work. Please fix straight away. Cheers.

Ok so I use YouTube everyday but there’s a glitch I’ve noticed the past 2 days where once during every video I watch the screen will pause but the audio will continue and turning off the phone just dims the phone for about 5 seconds and then shuts off. I’ve already deleted and reinstalled YouTube and it still happens and it’s pretty freaking frustrating

There is a blank space appearing at the top of the screen when switching from landscape back to upright. So annoying!

Since the last update a couple of days ago, 10/24/17, the main page won’t load on my iPhone 6 Plus. Sure it’s just a bug but I’m paying for RED and the app won’t load.

YouTube supports censorship. Google supports censorship. Buggy app and they take the content away from you.

My keyboard doesn’t work, what have you done?

Since the new iPhone 8 came out this app has given me nothing but freezing constantly. Even with your recent you tube updates I have had horrible freezing while using the app, it’s nearly impossible to watch! PLEASE FIX THIS

YouTube is a very nice app. It is very easy to use and I enjoy it a lot. There is no need for improvement but for features which I can joy think of besides being able to play videos and music in the background while in other apps or websites.

For the most part the app works just fine, but whenever a long video (over a few minutes) plays the video lags several seconds behind the audio. For some reason, there is no issue viewing the video outside of the app (like in Safari) and closing and reopening the video will fix it for a couple minutes. Not an issue most of the time, but definitely annoying. Hope this gets fixed so I can get back to watching videos!

Rather then trying to be all funny and writing some bs about ur space time continuum upgrades and focus on actually repair this app after the iOS 11 update would be much appreciated! Biggest compliant is the pinch feather to minimize the screen or to expand it and the bottom of the screen isn’t always functional. 3.7 out of 5 is a crappy app...

Have had several versions of YouTube app over the last few years and all have worked as they should. Now this version I updated to seems fine BUT it has an annoying flaw. After starting any video, cast over chromcast or Roku, the stop/ pause button refuses to work. Even though the cast is still connected. The only way to stop/pause video is to disconnect from the cast and start over. Very annoying. Any fixes???

I dont know if this is just an apple thing but it wont let me download YouTube and its so annoying bc I spend 90% of my time on my phone watching YouTube so FIX YOURSELF HONEY BUNCH

It is an “okay” app. The developers should work on allowing the videos to play in the background when you leave the app. Just like the Netflix app.

Disgusting censorship! An entire playlist I gathered that had nothing but love in it and zero political or inappropriate content and no where near offensive. It was titled love of mine for gods sake!! It was deleted and I wrote them and they never responded! It took me years to collect all those videos in hopes to share them one day with the ones I love. What a gross way to handle this.

For people who have the keyboard glitch were you type a comment under a reply and it won’t let you exit. Then you have to exit out of the app and reload back in. You have to change the the comments from the other choice. Example. If you have it on newest comments then change it to first comments. This should fix the problem because that glitch was so bad. Hope it works for you.
