YouTube - Watch, Upload and Share Videos App Reviews

Every time YouTube makes an upgrade, it makes the user experience worse. I cant listen to music or videos in the background without paying, which is really the only reason I would pay for youtube red. I cant open the app without a notification popping up that wants me to download their newest YouTube app or get their subscription service, and the ads are getting almost unbearable. The subscriptions tab is consistently getting worse at telling me if I have any new videos put out by a channel Im subscribed to, and they have redesigned the layout of the settings to make contacting support nigh-impossible.

It works mostly good except it takes forever to upload videos and I would like if it would be able to continue uploading even if you are in a video. Once in a while the video and audio dont sync up, but other than that it works good. Also sub to my channels MagicalRanter224 and Crowbar Gaming

It has not been working the tittles pop up for the someone makes a video but I cant watch it ?

YouTube demonized a numberphile video. Im deleting this app from all my devices.

Works half the time on both an iPhone 6+ and/or iPad Air 2. Says Im offline when every other app requiring an internet connection works fine. By the looks of the latest reviews it appears google has no interest in fixing the various bugs associated with this app. You are better off using your browser to access YouTube.

I feel that watching YouTube has become a way of life. I know I spend too much time doing it. Theres just so much there and it covers just about everything. We watch YouTube segments during our monthly company lunches.

Nothing works right at this site. Download times are slow; upgrades, incompetent and now some of the best content providers are all but disappearing. Among the best engineers in the world and now the suggestions, age restrictions and corporate add structures are drowning out what made Google-Tube great to begin with. Sears, K-Mart, Youtube; whats the diferance?

I use it on a daily basis. Just keeps getting better!

I opened the app today only to find that I had been automatically logged out due to this feature to access YouTube as signed out as opposed to on my account. I cant get back onto my account and its been frustrating me for hours. I for one cant understand what the point of this feature is. Why would I want to go onto this app as anything other than my account that has all of my preferences, subscriptions, and activity on it? Seems to be just another in a long line of bad design decisions.

Videos dont play like they used to, every time theres a new update, it doesnt work. It just loads and loads. And plays after waiting minutes to load. Pleaseeeee fix it <3

Why dont companies understand "what aint broke dont fix it" ?? YouTube has gone so far down hill with all these crappy updates. ???

Works on my old ipod but not with this "new" version. Completely pointless app for me without play in background. Google ???

Im not one to review things often, let alone making a "protest" rating, but it baffles me that Google of all companies, hasnt/wont implement Picture-in-picture for iPad with their official app, a feature made available 2 years ago with iOS 9. Good app generally but come on...

Used to be good but update make the app worse

Recently the app has not been letting me change the quality of the videos Im watching. I delete the app and reinstall it and it works fine for a couple videos and then does it again. Please fix this!
