Major playback problem on iPad (Edit: Seems to have been fixed)

For the last couple days, whenever I try to watch a video on the YouTube app on my iPad, it plays the first five seconds and then buffers indefinitely. I’ve tried using 144p, I’ve tried updating to the most recent version of iOS, but nothing seems to work. I’m able to access YouTube just fine on my laptop and my phone with no problems. I am very disappointed, and would like this issue to be fixed as soon as possible.
