YouTube - Watch, Upload and Share Videos App Reviews

We shouldnt have to pay $13 to listen to music in the background. Thats just idiotic. Thats more than a regular Netflix subscription. I understand about the ads but in that case they make YouTube red $5.

Title says it all. :) Video Speed, useable in PC Browser version, allows you to change a videos play speed (Normal = Default; Fast Speeds = 1.25, 1.5, 2; Slow Speed: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75)

After you exit out of YouTube videos keeps playing. But you cant hear anything. Its really annoying. Maybe you shouldve left at the same ?!! Please change it.

I tend to watch longer videos (2-4 hours), and will occasionally need to close the app and check a text or do something else. However, when I do and come back, the volume on the video stops working. I have to completely close out the app, reopen, find the video again, and then skip to the correct time because it doesnt resume where I left off. This has only happened with the newest update. (Note: I do not have Red, so it doesnt continue to play when I leave the app.)

YouTube has the most bull crap excuse for freezing your views, I have around 21 subs, and normally get 50 - 60 avg. views per video, and if I ever hit that avg. on a video, my views freeze. Youtube says if the video looks like it is getting view boted (witch mine is not) they will temporarily freeze the views. I dont know how long temporary is for my this is day 3 and they are still frozen, long story short, you cant get views if you actually make good content. If you want to see this for yourself serch on YouTube Ziovis and i am the onaly thing that comes up, this is a stupid feature that limits content creators ???

Ive always liked watching videos on this app but now Im the middle of my videos theres ads. One video holds like 20 ads and it gets really annoying having to watch them especially since you cant skip them

It not working it said on that page on my iPad mini & had to go to the home screen & press the home button to swipe it up. Cant exit out of there.

It always takes me back to the middle of a video but the audio stays the same its annoying

First off, I like YouTube. I come here to watch videos for entertainment. I do not come to see how much you people dont like Trump. I get it, we have different political views, yes. I like Trump yet some (maybe most) of you dont. Before every video, I do not want to see how amazing the former leader of Mexico is because hes telling trump to stop, I do not want to see those hilarious comedians bashing on trump nonstop. But I Cant. Avoid. It. It floods the "trending" category, its played for almost every ad for a video that has nothing to do with politics. I have to watch something I dont want to just to see the video I want. I tried ignoring this in hopes of you fixing this for a whole YEAR, but this is just excessive now. Fix it.

This app has been getting considerably worse over the years with more stupid features that only some how screws up the app and makes it glitch. For instance, I now have a glitch where if I am watching a YouTube video and then go into a separate app and go back the audio does not play when the video plays. So I have to play and un pause or click another video and go back to my video. Another thing Ive noticed is the orientation of the videos always screws up it just looks slow and unresponsive. At times when switching orientation it turns into half the screen being video while the other half is just black. This app is complete crap now almost as if YouTube/Google is purposely making it really bad for iOS users. Please fix these issues because YouTube app is a chore to use now days.

This garbage app is now harassing me to "accept notifications" even when I am not using the app

The app wont let me select the video quality. Fix it please!! I dont like having to watch a video in 360p.

But always I have to close it because Idk why is there lag?

Dont update the latest update has all kinds of bugs in it. You cant shrink the window for example. Apple really needs to make it where you can return to the previous version of an app. Googles laziness in this update is a great example of why.

Every time I exist the app it shuts down so I have to go and find the video I was on all over again :/ please fix this.

Theres this really weird bug that makes the videos Im watchings freeze if I minimize the video to scroll through the rest of my feed.

For the past 3 days I cant watch any videos at all

One of my favourite parts of YouTube was how you could make the video tiny in the corner and you could do other thing while you watched. Now its smack in the middle bottom and the screen is smaller. It would be awesome if YouTube had the same feature as Netflix to leave the app and still watch the video. Please do these things!!!!
