Why would I want to watch a video in 144p

I have just recently updated YouTube and have experienced an annoying problem. I updated YouTube and as soon as the update started, another YouTube application popped up and has been stuck with the words installing on it. I cannot currently delete the extra YouTube app and I am also not pleased with the worthless update. (If you are wondering why I update my YouTube so late, its because most of the updates are pointless space wasters).

The latest in a long list of bugs is that the app will constantly forget you "liked" a video. Give a thumbs up, watch another vid, go back and your like is gone and the count has rolled back. Very frustrating.

You guys have lots of bugs now! Stop changing the features! I prefer the old way. This is my opinion.

Ever since the June update every video starts either at 360 or 240 resolution. Also every time I click to change the resolution I have to do it multiple before it actually changes. Also, theirs an issue with turning your phone to landscape mode and having it cut off half the screen while staying in portrait mode. It completely cuts off the comment section and the only fix is to exit the app, re open, click to change the screen to portrait, and then go back to landscape. Whats going on with this app!

I cannot unsubscribe from it and its making my phone bug like crazy.

Thanks YouTube! You finally fixed my problem and I cant thank you enough. My life is now complete with YouTube. I only have two complaints, why are things recommended for me which I dont even watch? Also, video quality is a little on the bad side, stuttering and bad 144 for a bit isnt that bad in the long run, but if your would improve this, it would make YouTube all the better. Thanks you for your time and hard work.

I am absolutely enraged that you dont have the ability to look at other suggestions while still watching a video sideways. The bar with the selected videos that you could click on made it so much easier to see what else there was. Please bring this back.

To fix the YouTube from crashing... Delete YouTube and re download

Even with YouTube Red, the app doesnt support picture and picture. Ridiculous. Its been a year since I last reviewed the app and it still has connectivity problems that require force quitting and relaunching the app. The connection is fine. Im not offline. Please fix this horrible bug. The UI has improved slightly since the awful redesign but the Android-isms are still quite awkward on iOS.

I liked the app before the update where when you slide bottom up it shows suggestions on what to play next. Other than that everything else is good.

I love YouTube very much, but with every update it just gets worse. The appearance and location of things is really confusing and hard to get used to. I also cant do that thing anymore when you slide up on a video and see all the related videos or whatever. That was cool.

This version has caused my iPhone to completely shut down twice.

How many times do I need to say it? No. Captions. I dont want the English subtitles and I am already sick of the player turning them back on three times in the span of a three minute video. Please add a preferences sort of setting so they are automatic or just make it so when you set it to no captions, it doesnt revert for no reason. Edit: The same happens with the quality, auto adjusting to 240p or simply lower a level whenever the player feels like it. Its constantly buffering or loading something and the new update has only made this problem extremely apparent, especially with longer videos. The app is now terrible and reminds me of the awful video players youd find on sights online that were one of five other options for a reason. Fix the stupid app, please.

The new update constantly makes the app freeze making it impossible to tap anything. It also makes minimizing videos while watching to find a another very dangerous because it makes it impossible to make it full screen again. FIX THIS NOW!!!!

Ummm... Where are my playlists??????? Cant add nor delete songs to playlists either. Keeps crashing! Like what is the deal?

I love it so much. There is literally nothing bad that i can say about youtube. If its not working, then just try restarting your device, it helps for me. Love this app with all my heart!!!!!

Fix the glitch that puts recommended at the bottom of app
