YouTube - Watch, Upload and Share Videos App Reviews

My recommendations I cant find anything! Its not organized this update is stupid! You guys have to stop wasting time and actually update it. This "update" shouldnt even be called an update.

All the other comments about the home screen are true

Giant thumbnails with things Ive recently watched compared to my old homepage that had recommendations and THEN "watch it again videos."

So the crashes got fixed, but every time I pause and go to another app for 5 minutes or so I come back and it refreshes the whole app, every single time. Its annoying. Also I bought YouTube red and basically wasted money because I only got it for background playback and it doesnt even work, the music or audio in general stops when I exit the app or lock my phone.

Im really disappointed by this last update from 27.04. I have noticed that watching video with YouTube app for 10 minutes discharged my battery of iPhone 6S on 8-9% and the whole iPhone warmed up really a lot! Even hotter than using Skype for 30-40 minutes. Accumulator statistics showed 15-22% after 10-15 minutes for YouTube. I found discussing the same problem on forums and deleted/installed YouTube. It helped and now no warming up or significant discharging during 10-minute video watching (even on 1%).

I really dont ever leave reviews on anything, but I have to put my two cents in here and agree with many other people that the new update is terrible. It was a forced update and I really wish I could go back to the old UI bc theres no variety on this big bulky thumbnail suggested content, whatever you wanna call it thing

Its been 3 days since the app was updating and still Im waiting. I deleted the app but it never got off my screen and now a tried to install again and one day later it is still instaling.

This home screen page is killing me. I can deal with the little things but I dont want to just look at recommended vids and ones Ive already seen, if thats the case Ill just go to the history. I dont recall updating it either and I dont know how to uninstall and go back. So... It stinks

Can we unupdate? And revert back to what it was? If liked being suggested videos not forced videos that are exactly the same as all the other ones I watch. Sometimes you gotta try something new

When I try to update it automatically cancels. When I enter to the app it says I have to update

Ive had the first version but not this one.

Ive been using YouTube since like 2009 and like most, I dont like it as much as I use to, the original will always be my favorite. However, YouTube is still YouTube and I think what Google has done isnt bad, its just natural progression. I like the mobile layout and everything is working fine on my end :)

I liked the old setup way better. I preferred going through all my "recommended" videos at once, usually ignoring the "watch it again" section - but now its all mixed up and only shows me a fraction of the number of suggestions. Additionally...Why do the videos take up so much space?? Id love the old setup back! Dont change what isnt broken!

Was useable but now every 10 minutes an ad pops up right in the middle of the video. bad bad bad!

I am very disappointed. Every time I go to play a video and then turn my phone side ways youtube freezes! Like the video is still playing but I cant touch or do anything. This has been going on forever and I always thought Youtube was a great app. I was wrong.

Please fix it wont let me change my YouTube name

Im going to find other app instead of this one. I hate this ads, its to much! There are a lot of different great apps.
