YouTube - Watch, Upload and Share Videos App Reviews

Recently Ive been unable to use the cast functions properly. After a video starts casting, if I close the app and open it again the connection gets lost and the controls/queue disappear. The video continues playing but if I try to reconnect everything resets and I lose the videos in my queue.

No way to set default video quality so now every video you choose it has to be manually changed if you want. And then no control while not on wifi. Its BS. Dont tell me what quality I should watch in. Ill wait for it to load so I can actually see it. 144 P? Seriously??!! Stop dictating!!!

The apps videos are great however the advertisements are way too long and annoying. It took about 5 minutes for me to see my video because there was a whole video advertisement on DIY tie dye napkin holders with no skip button.

Im a YouTuber that likes to interact with my subscribers. So I used to get notifications when someone comments on my videos. Now I dont get any notifications. Please bring it back! :(

When a video is playing in landscape mode it glitches,and it also appears in in the lower left corner,i am really disapponted btw.hope u fix it soon!!

After I updated on my iPhone 5 Im unable to play a single video on both wifi and data. Come on guys you make it worse every time you update it

How could such a large and powerful company release such a buggy app? I keep having to change resolution for every video only in the app. Web interface remembers my resolution. Even ads which interrupt my video are not in the correct resolution.

So I love how in full screen mode you can now select and browse videos but this feature has "disappeared" from my iPad. Its there on my phone and it works fine but its not on my iPad anymore when it used to be. Its just annoying to want to swipe up to select a new vid and you cant cuz ITS NOT THERE ANYMORE and then have to exit full screen and select a video after ur so used to the full screen video browsing. Can yall please fix this

It is always losing where I was in the video. Its so annoying whenever I come back on the video is gone. ill be in the middle of a video when youtube decides they want me to watch something else so it just keeps skipping through the up next button is the most frustrating thing i have to stop using this app. FIX IT COME ON. its not my headphones or my phone. my phone has no problems its new, and i have this problem with literally every pair of headphones i try. FIX IT

Because the past year your app has been getting worse and worse, most of the bugs and glitches that people were complaining about has went away but then the same ones just come back!? and theres more and more glitches and bugs. It has got to a point where I cant watch on the YouTube app and now I have to watch on the website instead. PLEASE FIX ALL THESE BUGS AND GLITCHES!!!!!!

I was updating it then it wouldnt update but I had lots and lots of wifi. I tried to delete it and wouldnt work. It disappeared today but when I try to download it again it says open. When I press "Open" it doesnt work. Please fix that YouTube!

Afterfinal update freezes and crashes, and wont open anymore, had to reinstall the app

It used to work great but after this update the Chromecasting has been broken and the controls dont work anymore!

I love YouTube its amazing but theres just one thing that really bothers me;Offline Videos at first its free, then u need YouTube red Im currently traveling and want to watch videos in the air. Last night I updated YouTube and was still able to download videos to save offline. Just right now when I try to do that, it says I need YouTube Red. Please just make it that u dont need YouTube Red for offline videos.

Can you make a small scroll area on the right side of the screen for mobile devices? A 1/4" would do. The video links go all the way to the edge and make it hard to scroll without clicking on the videos with the newer ipad touch screens. Very frustrating.
