Stop playing ads in the middle of videos!!!
Stop playing ads in the middle of videos!!!
I would rate 5 stars except each time I click on a video it says something went wrong. No videos work. Please fix YouTube.
Its an okay app but the problem is some videos are just yuck!
I mean, before you could listen to music out of the app for free, now you have to pay! Also you could download videos for "offline." If you are not using data or something. BUT a few week later they decide to make people pay for it. YOUTUBE IS CHEAP.
It is so awesome I love watching things on it I am upcess with YouTube best thing everrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Please fix and provide an update.
Dont get me wrong I love youtube. But lately every time i try to click on a video. it keeps saying error. It wont let me watch any youtube video. please fix
For those of you who dont know what YouTube is, it is an international website that consists of videos. Types of videos include Instructional Videos, Gaming Videos, Film Videos, and more. The creators of such videos are called "Channels". Some channels strive for a comedic style, others cover world-wide news, others even cover YouTube itself. Personally, I find this website to be a place where I can watch videos that make me laugh, that make me think, that make me panic in excitement. What I do not find suitable is that YouTube has recently been trying to "fix" channels that may be offensive to viewers. Maybe the creators of YouTube wanted YouTube to be something else. But every single video is biased. It is supposed to be biased, and the videos will lean toward one side, or the other. No video will ever be completely free of a biased stand point. YouTube must accept the fact that Channels have been created because they host what the creators of those channels had in mind. Say that I create a channel, and that channels purpose is to instruct people of the feminist community. Thats a random topic, but not for me. I chose that because I have an issue with it that I would like to address to the world. The fact that I have an issue with it says everything: My decision is biased. Sure, YouTube will make it look like they are trying to get rid of Channels that are offensive. But what is offensive? I could find the sun offensive, because its ultraviolet rays may give me skin cancer. Others find it to be an amazing source of Vitamin D. Now say the sun is a video of feminism. I find it offensive, because it wrongly speaks of man, but you find it to be information that you could use in a protest speaking on behalf of women. See what I mean? Everyone has a different standpoint, a different perspective, so there is no reason to add rules like no video should "Contain hate speech, including verbal attacks based on gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability or nationality". Everyone should have a right to speak to the world about their opinion. And if someone finds it offensive, they may respond to such person with a video of their own. Its time to wake up. YouTube had its time but now theyve taken the wrong step. They made rules that violate our right to speak up for ourselves, and thats not... right. But YouTube isnt the one at fault. Its the Channels. YouTube cares for us, so YouTube makes rules to guide the view of the viewer to what they want to view! That is why YouTube is amazing. They just got what they didnt deserve: Hate. Discrimination. And sadly, much more.
So earlier today I was calling someone and when I was done I went to YouTube and I watch a video and it skipped the ad and when the video was loading it stopped and said
App is good; not really anything to say. However, there is just one change I desperately need. If custom thumbnails were changeable from a mobile using the camera roll, this app would 100% have my 5 stars. My computer doesnt let me upload images into the files, so, I cant have custom thumbnails even though Ive set up monetization. If I could put the thumbnail into my camera roll on my mobile phone and change it from there, I could easily and actually have custom thumbnails on my video.
Update 1-29-2017: Well, with the latest update I guess I wont be using this app at all, ever. Every single video gives me a message that says theres an error and something went wrong and try again. Every. Single. Video. Cant watch ANYTHING. Thanks for nothing, again, YouTube. Wish I could give you 0 stars. But you want us to pay you? Yeah, right. I have had this app for a long time, cant remember exactly, and I have NEVER gotten a notification. I have to remember which videos I commented on and lets face it, thats never going to happen. I have emailed them (from the app) twice, once with a screenshot of my notifications (you know? The completely blank page) and havent heard back from them. I guess they dont care about keeping their users. I have been using dailymotion to watch my videos lately. Mostly because their copyright crap isnt crazy and they arent constantly removing videos. I can actually find what I want to watch on their app. In fact, thats where Im heading now. See ya YouTube! Update: I wish I could give this 0 stars. It also has insanely slow upload speeds. I have been uploading a 4 minute and 26 second video from my iPad for about the past 2 hours and its still not done yet. They DO NOT care about their users.
YouTube is getting ridiculous with playing ads. I cant watch a full video anymore without and ad playing right in the middle of it. Sometimes my phone freezes on the ad when it plays, or doesnt want to play the video afterwards. YouTube red is another ridiculous way to take your money. Im never going to get it. You guys make enough money just off of ads themselves. Why would I have to pay to watch videos without ads? You guys really need to fix this.
This app always crashes
I have no idea if this only happening to me, but the audio for any video I watch skips constantly like a scratched record. Its not the quality of the videos--Ive watched them on my laptop with no problem. Its really ruining listening to podcasts and music, and just videos in general.
Has anyone els experienced the big where videos dont play no matter what you do? Ive restarted the app, deleted it and reinstalled it, and all around just played with it and videos just wont play. Pleas fix this.
This app is a mess. The UI is horribly cluttered and complicated. I get notifications, but the app is so cluttered and disorganized, I click on the notifications and it never shows what the notification was for. Then, just to get to the list of videos from people I subscribe to, I have to click on like ten different icons. Ridiculous. I would definitely recommend some simplicity, as opposed to this cluttered mess. Another problem is the constant interruptions in the videos. Youre forced to watch a commercial every two minutes, while trying to enjoy a video. This app is low-quality and functions poorly, just like most of Googles products and services.
Every-time I use this app, the layout keeps being consistently changed. And when I try and look at my subscribers, they are there, but it says Im not subscribed to them, so I cant unsubscribe from people I dont want to be subscribed to. They constantly add and remove features, and overall, its just an app that needs to be deleted and they should make a brand new app. And this is by GOOGLE, not some less known company.
It keeps connecting to the living room TV and my parents get really upset about it, and Im not even connecting to the TV so make the TV connection able to be disabled in the settings, because this is getting repetitive.
This is da greatest app ever but now there is a bug.every time I tap on a video it loads up da ad but it says something went wrong tap to retry but it still wont work.so plz fix dat bug hopefully its not only happening to me.
As of recent, when I click on a video, an error message saying: "error occurred, try again" pops up. I know its not my WiFi because I have great reception. Ive tried deleting and reloading the app, but nothing seems to work because the message still comes up. Please remedy this inconvenience because it is extremely aggravating not being able to use the one app that I, without a doubt, use the most every day.
